A Rapper Can Promote Himself, Buy Beats And Distribute Online

Music is not only a part of life, but it is a part of our very existence. The intellectuals in the old times believed that music was first discovered by man when he tried to imitate the sounds of nature- the sound of the flowing water, the blowing wind, the rustling leaves, the drizzling rains; and of course, the songs of the birds. Today, with tattoos becoming not only a part of fashion but a way of personal expression, expressing one's love for music through tattoos is very much in vogue.

How To Find Free Rap Music

If you are a practical user who would want to make use of his time wisely, then one thing that can bug you when you are using your computer is when you find out that your iTunes library have numerous duplicate tracks. This does not necessarily mean that you have many copies of this certain track; let's say "A Little Help From my Friends" by the Beatles. Your iTunes might display different tracks but it originates from one file only.

Often times, the term ballroom dancing gave people a picture of older partners dancing together, lately this does not seem to be the case. Anyone from a teenager to an older adult can take charge with this hip type of dance and are more eager to pay attention to the details involved.

Is Piano Tuning Necessary?

Piano tuning is not something that you pick up over night. It is a skill that takes considerable time and practice to do well, and above all it takes patience. It is impossible to perform so delicate a task if you are the sort of person who insists on rushing and doing everything as quickly as possible.

The History Of Indie Rock Music In The UK

Since all pianos eventually go out of tune, it is necessary that they be tuned regularly in order to sound the best. According to the best piano manufacturers, a new piano or one that has been restrung should be tuned four times during the first year. After that, generally pianos should be tuned twice per year.

Guitar Bridge Variations on Acoustic Guitar Bridges

Started by the unique Black Sabbath while they tangled Heavy Blues sounds into a Heavy style of Metal all of their own, Doom Metal has become a whole genre in it's own right, now loved by a growing cult-following of Metal Heads. As well known bands such as Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica were shredding away at the faster Thrash Metal of the early 80's, less well-known groups were slowing down the tempo and pioneering the Doom genre. Often using gloomy and dark vocals, Doom is usually played at a slower pace than classic Heavy Metal or Hard Rock, and is always of a scarier and groovier sound than some of the more well-known styles of Heavy Metal.

This Christmas, my kids (ages 12 and 9) have asked for some musical equipment. It seems the boys would like to try their hand at setting up their own garage band. I wondered how I could help them pursue their interests without irritating the entire neighborhood with the sound of musicians in training.

Piano Tuning: Do You Need A Professional Piano Tuner?

If you've ever asked yourself if it were even possible that you could ever make music on your pc the answer to that question is a resounding "without a doubt". Low-cost electronic music making programs can be found from numerous businesses, with some having top quality plug ins built in their own easy to use software programs. Before this needed a huge amount of time to know the program, nevertheless the current applications have simplified the learning curve which usually permits you to start creating beautiful songs within almost no time.

Realizing that anybody needs recognizing, and plaque and trophy could present a tangible method of appreciation, so here we can have a chance to increase our company performance by awarding any personalized trophy or plaque to the best staff or employees based on dedication and devotion, and of course this will influence anybody else to do the same. X Factor: Our Favorite Performance Of The Weekend Was…

We completely disagree with Simon and Louis!
Cher Lloyd's stripped-down performance on X Factor's Beatles-themed show Saturday was THE BEST of the night!

Yes, she's got swagger and great stage presence. Yes, she can do the big production and even rap. But she also [...]

Will Tom Hardy Play Hugo Strange In Batman: The Dark Knight Rises?

Last month we learned the happy/exciting news that Inception actor Tom Hardy had been cast in an unknown role in the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. When news of Hardy‘s casting first hit, it was speculated that he would be playing a villain … but NOT The Riddler (as director Christopher Nolan [...]

Now … take this bit of info with a huge grain of salt BUT … Britney Spears was reportedly spotted making her way to a music video shoot here in SoCal on Wednesday afternoon. We don’t know what the music video is for nor do we know *for sure* that it was a music video shoot at all … but the studio she rolled up on is one that is used to film music videos so … there you have it:

It is quite possible that Britney wasn’t filming a music video at all and was simply working on another video project (a commercial, an awards show video, etc.) but, then again, I suppose it’s also possible that she is secretly working on a music video for the first single off her new album which she *might* drop on us as a complete surprise in the coming weeks!!! Yes, it is highly unlikely that we’ll be hearing new music or seeing a video before the year is over but, then again, Xmas miracles do happen. Irregardless of whether or not she was filming a music video per se, it’s quite clear that our dear Britney is working hard on something. I cannot wait to find out what it is ;D

Co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were spotted yesterday on the Pasadena, CA set of Glee as they filmed scenes for the upcoming Xmas episode of the show … here are a couple photos from the Glee set:

The Glee Xmas album went on sale this past Tuesday perfectly timed with this week’s filming. It’s unclear if this year’s Xmas ep will be an over-the-top musicfest or if it will bring back that heart and soul of the show that made us all fall in love with Glee in the first place but one thing’s for sure, we won’t have to wait too long to find out. They may still be filming the ep this week but it will be ready to air in just a few weeks time. Xmas is getting here faster than I would like but in all honesty, I really am looking forward to the Glee Xmas episode this year … aren’t you?

Paris Hilton Does Community Service

Paris Hilton, wearing 4-inch high heels, showed up for work with the Hollywood Beautification Team here in SoCal this weekend to do some community service in order to start paying back her debt to society for the crimes she has been convicted of. Naturally, the sight of Paris Hilton engaged in any sort of manual [...]

Yesterday evening, before I made my way to the Viper Room to see American Hi-Fi LIVE in concert, I attended an opening day showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 at the ArcLight in Hollywood, CA. Without question, I loved every single second of the film and enjoyed it so thoroughly that I cannot wait to see it again:

JK Rowling‘s Harry Potter books are always so rich with detail and lush storytelling that the film versions, as good as they are, seem like watered down tales that pale in comparison to the original source material. Because the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, has been turned into 2 films, that watered down feeling didn’t feel as heavy-handed as it does for previous films. True, not everything in the first half of Deathly Hallows is included in Part 1 but we do get much more of the story than we usually get from the film adaptations … and we have an entirely new film to look forward to as well. This final installment of the Harry Potter film franchise is very dark and very scary … even for adults. No lie, I jumped out of my seat a couple of times with actual fright. There’s a lot of sexiness going on as well … Daniel Radcliffe strips down to his underwear in parts of the film and the semi-naked kissing (fantasy) scene between Harry Potter and Hermoine Granger made me feel really … uncomfortable. Still, those elements are required of the story so they didn’t feel gratuitous … in fact, they added muchly to the tone of the film. I was very impressed with the animated scenes that were used for the retelling of The Tale of the Three Brothers within the film. All in all, the film impressed me greatly … I loved it entirely. I really, REALLY did not want the movie to end … and when it does, I gave an audible sigh of sadness. I fear I’ll be bawling my eyes out when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is released next Summer. I damn near bawled my eyes out this time!

I’m not sure how this film will play for folks who are unfamiliar with the Harry Potter books and/or movies but the other 98.7% of the planet should enjoy this film very much.

the-combating-online-infringement-and-counterfeits-act.jpg

The future looks bleak for all those who would rather download their music for free on the Internet illegally than pay iTunes $1.29 per song.

It was unanimously decided today in the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee to give the Justice Department the power to take down illegally offered copyrighted content for sale, download, or streaming.

This new bill, the Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act, allows federal officials to get to work on shutting down any and all websites they deem illegally distributing music and other copyrighted materials.

As you can imagine, La La Land is thrilled to be getting their money back from all the consumers who've been cheating them all this time. SAG and the DGA even issued a joint-statement in support of the bill, saying:

“We believe today’s committee action is the first step in making it much more difficult for rogue site operators to run their sites with impunity.”

Uh-huh. Ever heard of the old saying, "where there's a will, there's a way?" We think the government underestimates the average American's overpowering inclination to not pay for stuff.

But still, this could affect a lot of your favorite websites, which is a bummer.

Are U peeved over this bill passing?
