Tragedy Hits Oslo, Norway

This is so horrible and so sad.
A bomb went off in Oslo, Norway today, ripping through buildings including the Prime Minister's office.
Horribly, that's not the only incident. Just outside the city, a man dressed as a police officer opened fire at youngsters at a youth camp connected to the ruling party.
It looks like the [...]

Yuck.

We're very sad to report that Casey Anthony's lawyer, Jose Baez, is negotiating with NBC, ABC, and CBS to determine who will pay the most for the female OJ's first exclusive interview!

According to sources, there is a "big price tag for the interview," they are also offering to license photos and other material, and so far, it seems like ABC and NBC are the frontrunners, with the latter taking the lead.

As much as we're aware how high-profile this case was, we're pretty disgusted to think that this woman is managing to make a profit off of her child's murder, and worse yet, that these networks are willing to pay her to do so.

We'd personally prefer that she just disappear and leave the public eye forever, but we doubt that's going to happen for a very long time.

So sad.

Thanks for taking the time to do this, Bristol!

Check out the video (above) of Bristol Palin talking about teen pregnancy with HLN's Dr. Drew.

We think it's great that she's using her experience as a teen mom as an opportunity to warn/educate others about the realities of being a teenage mother.

What do U think of Bristol's message? Do U agree with what she's saying here?

Robben Ford Guitar Clinic Review 14th March 2010

Along with Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana, Alice in Chains was a very important piece of the puzzle that made a musical genre known as grunge critical and commercial success, which emerged in the early 90's. Just like the bands mentioned at the start of this article, Alice in Chains is also a band from Seattle, Washington. Layne Staley (vocals) and Jerry Cantrell (guitars) were the ones responsible for the conception of this band in the late 80's.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing it this way, and watching a variety of performances and watching people explain their own tips, tricks and techniques can be very helpful in enabling you to make those early decisions, but there's one decision you should not make based solely on these videos.

Why You Should Be Careful About Using Guitar Tutorials Online

Although it is very tempting to pop online and do a quick search for guitar tutorials, you need to be very wary of what you'll find. You may be looking for guitar instructional videos, tab charts, chord charts or other instructional material, and the great thing about the web is that it offers an almost limitless supply of instructional material. Unfortunately there's a problem.

Watch: The ‘Ringer’ Discussion Panel At 2011 San Diego Comic Con

The new CW TV series Ringer, which stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and will debut this Fall, was well-represented this year at 2011 San Diego Comic-Con … which means we got a lot of goodies to enjoy. First we got a couple of amazing promo posters, then we got a new trailer for the show … [...]

David and I were able to see the new musical Tales Of The City currently in production here in San Francisco, CA and despite not having read any reviews about the show we were very excited to see the show. I’m a HUGE fan of the original PBS miniseries Tales Of The City and hold the characters created by Armistead Maupin very near and dear to my heart. I was hoping to love the show … and thankfully, that’s exactly what I did :D

Because the original books and miniseries are so well done and beloved by fans, there was concern that the musical may not measure up. For the most part, Tales Of The City the musical really holds on to the original spirit of the stories and presents the characters in a very respectful way. The music, written by Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, is actually quite good. Some of the songs could use a bit more work but for the most part, they do compliment the story very well. There is a song for the Michael Mouse Tolliver character where he reads (sings) a coming out letter to his mother … it’s heartbreakingly touching … it actually made me cry. The show has so much heart and is really fun. The staging is very inventive. If you are familiar with the way 28 Barbary Lane looks in the miniseries, you will be pleasantly surprised how much the stage version of the house comes to life with the same look and feel. The acting was superb … really. I loved every single actor on that stage. I hope this show makes it to Broadway … I think it might do very well. I believe Tales Of The City is one of the most charming stories out there … and this new musical is a charming NEW way to experience the drama and fun at 28 Barbary Lane. The show is being performed until July 31 so those of you here in SF have a few more days to see it … DO NOT miss it, I beg of you. This show should be experience in the city it is set in. You won’t be sorry, I’m sure of it.

Ballet Comique De La Reine

In the past, people usually relied on word of mouth to spread word on where to find sites to present themselves for auditions, but with the emergence of internet, it is now easier for upcoming musicians to book for auditions online. However, the internet is not one of the safest places for upcoming musicians. There are a lot people who pose as audition agents but in truth they are identity thieves or scammers.

Crowd Pleasing Piano Standards The 10 Best Piano Songs of All Time

The Paiste family's first involvement with making cymbals began at the turn of the 20th century when Michail Toomas Paiste, an Estonian composer and musician, opened a music store in St Petersburg in 1901. This incorporated instrument manufacture and repair facilities, and ran for many years until the Russian revolution of 1917, when Michail returned to Estonia. Opening his business in Tallinn, he starts to manufacture cymbals for orchestral and marching band use, and when his son joins the family firm they start to develop cymbals more suited to drumkit players.

Lindsay Lohan FAILS Alcohol Test Other News

Lindsay Lohan reportedly tested positive for alcohol sometime last week, and could once again be facing real jail time. Is it that she isn’t taking her punishment seriously, or does she have real boozing problem? I’m voting for a combination of both. From the get go, the story of Lindsay’s legal woes has been relentlessly lampooned. She is like the MacDonald’s coffee lady of Hollywood. Everybody knows about her shenanigans, and yes, everybody has a strongly held opinion about it. But behind all of the nonsense there is obviously a real problem. She clearly dodged a bullet after being sentenced to house arrest. I mean the girl had it made. Who would screw up such a lax punishment? Someone with a substance abuse problem, that’s who. Get the details and what might happen next at TMZ. I love me some True Blood. Check out these photos from the Season Four premiere – Too Fab. So how’s Pink look after giving birth? Last month we got our first look at promo photos from the upcoming remake film Footloose. As you may recall, this new version of Footloose is based on the film of the same name from 1984 which starred Kevin Bacon … this new version, stars Kenny Wormald. While I’m not a huge fan of remakes, [...]

We are just days away from the release of Beyoncé‘s new album 4 and today we get to check out a couple of fancy promo album photos that will be included in the album artwork booklet. Despite the fact that B has not been getting too much positive buzz about her new disc, she has been actively promoting its release. Check out these new Beyoncé promo photos below and see what’s in store should YOU decide to buy a copy of her new CD.

I have been able to preview Beyoncé‘s new album and I’m sad to say that I am totally underwhelmed. I don’t hear any singles on the disc. While Beyoncé sings amazing ballads, her new album 4 is nothing but ballads. Still, I’m certain that her fans will support the album’s release. As for these promo photos, the Queen B looks amazing as always. I’m hopeful that the bonus tracks on the deluxe version of 4 will be fantastic … because if not, I may have to pass on picking up this album altogether :/
